We’re excited for tomorrow’s meet against the Cherry Creek Vista Vikings!

Below are the meet details. The heat sheet is attached.

Meet Location and Parking:

• Pool Address: 11350 E. Orchard Road, Englewood, CO 80111
  • Everyone can utilize the pool parking lot as well as the elementary school parking lot and street parking. Please be respectful of driveways.

Theme: Disney!

Arrival & Warm-Up Times

• Pool opens: 6:30 AM
• Ben Franklin Warm-Up: 7:15–7:45 AM
  
  Please arrive early and be ready to hit the water at 7:15!  We know it is early, but warming up is important to get loose and minimize DQ's.

Tents & Seating

Our Team tent will be in the big field to the south of the pool.  Please, set up your personal tent in the same general area as our team tent.  When we build a "tent city," this promotes team comradery and the swimmers have tons of fun.  (It is also a request made by the host team) The fence will be open in multiple places for easy access.

We have done a great job of cleaning up after ourselves and not leaving trash behind, please keep that up!

Meet Schedule and Volunteering

Our warm up time is: 7:15 - 7:45 am

• The scratch meeting will be at the scoring tent (northwest corner of the pool) at 7:30am. -If your swimmer is signed up but won’t be attending, please let us know before the scratch meeting so we can adjust relays and heats accordingly.
• Timers and Stroke Judge meeting is at 7:40am at the officials tent.
  • We ask that all timers and stroke judges for all shifts come to the morning meeting to make transitions easier during shift changes. 
• We will start heating relays at 7:50am before the national anthem.
  • Please, help get your swimmer to heating by 7:50!
  • It creates unnecessary stress for our coaches when swimmers aren’t in place for their events and it is not the coaches responsibility to get your swimmer to heating.
• Volunteer shift changes will be at 8:00am, 10:00am, & 12:00pm.

Coaches Request

After each race, please encourage your swimmer to come to the coaches' tent next to the pool and talk to them about their swim. This provides the coaches time to give specific feedback on what went well and what can be improved.

Please help get your swimmer to heating on time!  The coaches want to be on the pool deck, coaching, and they should not have to wrangle kids.

Concessions

 CCV Concessions will accept cash and Venmo (@CCVVikings) to purchase tickets: 1 ticket = $1. Tickets will be sold at the front gate and next to concessions. At concessions, only tickets will be accepted.
