I hope you’re enjoying the long weekend! Morning practices begin tomorrow. Please double-check your practice times on the Ben Franklin website.

The season is officially underway, and this week will be BUSY! Please read this email in its entirety and carefully, as there are several action items that MUST be completed by Wednesday at noon.

🔹 Mock Meet – Action Required

We will be holding a Mock Meet at Ben Franklin this week.

You must declare your attendance (yes or no) by Wednesday at noon

• Thursday night, 4:30-7:00 pm: Swimmers will race Freestyle.
• Friday morning, 7:30-10:00 am: Swimmers will race Backstroke and Relays.
• New to meet declarations? Here’s a quick How-to Guide to walk you through the process. How to sign up your swimmers for a meet.
• Please make sure to let us know if your child will be participating in relays.

🔹 First Official Meet – Declarations Due - Action Required

Our first meet of the season is this Saturday, May 31st, against Willow Creek II and the Preserve. While submitting your Mock Meet declarations, please also complete your declarations for Saturday’s meet. Your declarations for Saturday

• This is a tri-meet. Please select only TWO individual events per swimmer. If three are selected, the Meet Manager will remove one.

Even if your swimmer is not attending, please log in and indicate that. This helps us distinguish between a missed sign-up and a confirmed absence.

Stay tuned for a separate email later this week with more details about Saturday’s meet.

🔹 Tie-Dye & Ice Cream Night – Wednesday, 5–7 PM

Join us Wednesday night for a fun evening of tie-dye and ice cream!

• Bring something to tie-dye and a bag to take it home.
• We’ll be set up out front with all the supplies.
• Apparel orders will also be available for pick-up.
• Bathrooms will be open, but the pool and pool deck are closed—please help us keep kids in the front area.
• Volunteers will be on hand, but please remind your kids to keep dye off the cement.

🔹 Big Fish, Little Fish

We’ll announce the Big Fish, Little Fish match-ups during the Tie-Dye Night.

🍩 Donut Friday Starts This Week!

Donuts will be available for $1.00 each – cash only. Don’t forget to bring some money with you Friday morning!
