It's wild to think that the end of the season is already upon us. If you qualified in 16th place or better at Prelims, you're automatically entered into Finals which is tomorrow at Stonegate. You can check the SwimTopia app to see your events.

The finalized heat sheet is attached to this email in 2-column & 3-column format. There's also a document detailing meet information & a parking map. 

Arrival

Warm-ups: 6:50am - 7:10am in lanes 6 through 8

Relays

If you are in the medley relay, please arrive by 7:30am! Do not walk up at the last moment to the blocks. It causes a huge amount of stress for coaches and other kids on the relay.

If you are in the freestyle relay, stay until the end of the meet! We cannot swap anyone out for an alternate so if you are not there then we must scratch the whole relay team.

Scoring

As a reminder, scoring works a little differently in Finals depending on which heat you're placed in.

1) Heat 1: Consolation heat: No matter what time can only place as high as 9th

2) Heat 2: Championship heat: No matter what time lowest place is 8th

Code of Conduct

Last year we had several incidents during Finals that involved parents from other teams. There is zero tolerance for this behavior and you will be dismissed from the meet immediately if there are issues.

DQ Contests

If you want to dispute a DQ, you must talk to one of the parent reps (me, Emily, or Paden). Do not go to the officials tent—they will just tell you to talk to a parent rep.

The only reasons a DQ will be overturned is if a stroke judge was out of position or if they did not raise their hand when the DQ occurred. Beyond that, we go with what the stroke judge calls. We do not accept video evidence.
