Coordinator Positions for 2023 Season

Hi Franklin Fish parents,

I hope you all are enjoying the cool fall days. It may seem early, but we are already prepping for the 2023 Franklin Fish season. We are defining some additional coordinator roles to help alleviate some of the work of the parent reps.

Below is a list of new roles and we are looking for folks to fill them. Please reach out to me if you are interested. These are all "exempt" positions which means they fulfill any volunteer requirements for your family for the season.

  • Meet Coordinator - Coordinates volunteers during home meets (timers, pool set up). This is a good position for experienced parents or for folks who can learn names quickly.
  • Event Coordinator - Coordinates volunteers for social events (typically on Wednesday evenings). They also coordinate volunteers to order food and supplies for the event. This is good for any "party planner" kind of folks.
  • Concessions Manager - Coordinates concessions volunteers during home meets as well as coordinates volunteers for ordering & pick-up of food. Also, sets menu pricing.
  • Clerk - This position coordinates post-meet volunteers for ribbons & Fighting Fish caps. This is a good position for parents who are looking for a remote position and are somewhat technical.

No prior experience is necessary in these jobs and we'd be happy to train you. We'll be starting to get this organized starting in March/April of next year so we can hit the ground running with the season in May.
